Save the Karnali (Himalayan Rivers) Campaign

In Process...

I am working with Nepal River Conservation Trust (NRCT) President Mr. Megh Ale and some other like minded people to flourish the idea of Save the Karnali. This idea of conservation ideally came out after the call of Mr. Ale to save the Himalayan River as " The Karnali: Nepal's Sacred Gift to the Living Earth" (Read the announcement Karnali, Nepal's sacred gift to the living Earth.pdf). Related information is available online at Nepal River Conservation Trust.

Light-up Humla Campaign

Led by senior environmental journalist Mr. Bhairab Risal and supported by Mr. Jeevan Shahi (Ex-DDC Chairman, Humla), Mr. Jaya Bahadur Rokaya (Kantipur Reporter for Humla) and many reknown development practicians in Nepal, it is an unique approach to rural electrification. For more information visit the Google search page.

I am involved in this campaign since last 2 years as a facilitator.

Wetlands for Tomorrow Campaign

The idea of running a "Wetlands for Tomorrow" campaign emerged while discussing on NRCT initiated Annual (Bhotekoshi) River Festival. The main main idea of this campaign is to connect the World Wetlands Day with the World Water Day and finally linking all the environment related days falling between Feb 2 to March 22 to the conservation education and ecotourism promotion. More information is available online at NRCT's Annual River Festival page.
